George Orwell, 1984

I found this book depressing and scary as a young teen.

Scarlett letter was pretty rough for me to get through. I didnt particularly enjoy forced reading. It takes the joy out of it.

I had to read Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde in college and I did not like it at all. I think I'm just not a super big fan of the classics.

The Scarlett Letter - I'm sure it's a very symbolic and important book, but I found it so difficult to read which resulted in me being unable to enjoy it; Maybe I'll give it another shot at some point but for now, I don't miss it.

I absolutely despised Moby Dick and no argument anyone has made in favor of it has changed my mind.

Ughhh I hated to read The Pearl by John Steinbeck. It was so depressing and it was the very first book we got in high school to read.

I know a lot of people love Classic Fiction but I could never read things like Great Expectations. The language was too complex for me at the time. I did try to read it again as an adult, however, I found the book slow and uneventful.

I didn't really hate any book as such.
