Yes I do they just get in my way and make it a little annoying while trying to read.

I always remove my book jackets when I'm reading them. I am one of those people who don't like creases or rips in them. I treat them like a bandage on a wound and remove carefully and slowly.

I remove the jacket while I am reading the book. I like the book jackets, but I always seem to mess them up when I am reading. I usually put them back on when I put the book back on the shelf. I never throw away the book jackets. I like the way they make the books look on my bookshelf.

I usually remove the jackets if they get in the way of my reading the book or just to keep it nice and clean when I'm out traveling with the book.

I remove the book jacket while I am reading the book. I do keep it and replace it upon re-shelving.

I usually use the flap as a book marker. If the material is too glossy, I might remove it while reading.
Life without a good book is something MrsCatInTheHat cannot imagine.

I'm the same as CatInTheHat. I also use the flap as my book marker. The covers don't bother me.

I find book jacket is annoying and nuisance when reading I usually remove it, put it somewhere and only put it back after I finished the book.

I take them off! It is such a distraction, especially if you are really into the book and have to worry about fumbling around with it. No thanks!

I remove the cover and set aside until I finish the book. But once I am done, I put the cover back on the book. If I lend out a book, I remove the cover as well, and put it back on if I ever get the book back :-).

It depends. Sometimes I use the flap as a book mark. Sometimes I remove it altogether.

I'm weird I usually remove the book jackets of Reader Digest books but but those books that I have a collection of or I hand out to friends and family I keep the jackets on for protection of the book.

Not generally, as I don't tend to read many hardbacks. But, if I really love the cover, I will temporarily remove it, while reading the book.

If it doesn't want to stay put while I'm reading, then it gets a temporary resting place somewhere on the shelf and when I'm finished with the book, it goes back on there to look pretty again.
