Short chapters because if feels like im reading fast and quick and just one more chapter or that was just a teaser, one more after that one more. Short chapters make me feel like I'm racing through a book and also when it ends of chapter 120, I look back and think dang that was a good, long book.

If the story is really good the length of the chapters doesn't really matter to me. But most of the time if I do stop reading I like to end with the end of the chapter so in this way I definitely prefer to have the chapters be shorter.

As long as the story is good and grabs me, it doesn't really matter to me. However if I want a quick read I like shorter chapters because I can go through the book faster.

I definitely need short chapters. I like to read at any chance I get, and I hate having to stop in the middle of the chapter. I also need a little break to think about what I've read. I don't feel like I get this with long chapters.

I like short chapters because it makes me feel like it's more real. (If that makes any sense)

I prefer short chapters. So can quickly end up. In journeys I prefer both short and long.

Chapter length doesn't really matter to me. What I want is for chapters to end at places in the story that make sense. It seems like some authors cut chapters off too soon OR combine one chapter into what should really be two chapters.
Life without a good book is something MrsCatInTheHat cannot imagine.

I prefer shorter chapters for large books as well. I can usually keep track of the plot of the story better when I read short chapters by comparison to long chapters.

If the story is good, I usually don't even notice how long the chapters are.

Technically it really doesn't matter to me but practically I like having shorter chapters. This allows many more logical stopping points than a longer chapter would.

That is exacly what I do! I don't pay much attention to chapters. I think short chapters are good in certain books and long chapters in others. For example, I prefer books with multiple speakers to have shorter chapters.

short chapters are better. you get some sense of accomplishment, like at the end of each chapter you feel like you're getting somewhere.
