If the writing is really good, I'll get so hooked into it that my eyes will fly over the page and it'll be like a movie playing in my head until I've read five pages and I realize I practically blacked out but was somehow still absorbing the words. I've always loved when that happens because to me, it's an even more enjoyable experience than a movie because it's happening in YOUR head, not on a screen. So, it's almost like you're apart of the story instead of just watching it.

When I'm reading a book, especially fantasy, I can usually get a pretty vivid picture of the scene or what the characters to look like.

Not all the time. If the book that I'm reading has very rich and vivid descriptions, I can see the picture that the author is trying to paint. Not all the books that I've read are very descriptive and enthralling that it can pull me in to see the world in it.

I always see pictures when I reading a book. I love reading books especially in the winter time when it is too cold out or I just don't feel like going outside and just want to sit on the couch or in my bed under the warm covers. My favorite Books is "I Survived" they are the best adventure books to read anytime, any day, and any season. and any where you like to read at.

I love visualizing characters whilst reading a book. Their faces are not extremely detailed in my head, but their body and actions throughout the story are. I can imagine different scenes and locations, and all of this ultimately helps me to understand the book better.

I tend to see pictures while I read. Faces are kinda hard, unless the author does a good job describing them. I love being able to visualize the scenes, to the point that if the author does a bad job of describing a scene and I can't visualize it, I get annoyed.

I'm an extremely visual reader, and nearly every scene is easy for me to picture in my mind. If a book is less than ideally descriptive, I am usually able to fill in the blanks with my imagination. Books play out like movies for me.

I don't see pictures. I see the whole thing played out like a movie: colours, textures, sound effects. Choosing your own cast is one of the best things about reading books.

Interestingly enough, I actually feel the actions in my own body or mind rather than seeing them. I tend to feel the same emotions and experience the same reactions the characters do. I can also feel my body shifting around if there's a combat scene or relaxing if the scene is more tranquil. It's quite interesting and I absolutely love it.

Yes, I try to imagine what the author is describing in books to get a clearer picture of the scene. I even dream of some scenes that I read whenever I get too attached.

I do! I may not physically see pictures and scenarios but I definitely imagine the characters. I have been so deep in some of the depictions that I often don't hear my husband when he is wanting to get my attention. That is one of the most amazing things about reading. It activates my imagination through picturing what is happening inside the book.

If the author's writing style is creative and descriptive then, yes I can visualize the scenes.

I see still frames in my head of settings while they're being described but I can also picture how certain scenes may be playing out. Like during dialogue scenes, I like to use my imagination and the actions mentioned to picture how the characters are interacting. Not necessarily like a movie though, more just visualization.
