Depending on the book, I sometimes become sleepy while reading. Other factors include how my day went and if it was a stressful day, the relaxation I find while reading a good book puts me right to sleep.

Yes, that happens to me all the time. It's helpful when I wanna sleep, but not so nice when I'm trying to read.

Reading relaxes my mind and helps me go to sleep. My mind is way to busy sometimes and it needs to calm down.

When I was young, I would read myself to sleep all the time.

I only fall asleep if I am reading in bed at night, and it usually happens about 30-40 minutes in.

Most of the time I'll stay up until 4 in the morning reading a good book without even yawning. Occasionally though, I wind up dead asleep in the middle of a page and wake up still holding the page i was reading.

While reading, sometimes. But once, while writing, I fell asleep mid sentence and wok to find I had scrawled a line half way across the page. :)

More often than I'd like to admit . Once I find that I've read the same sentence several times, it's time for a nap!

All the time. I could be reading at school and doze off, even more so in my bed. I get really happy and comfortable, and if in my bed, warm and I just konk out. I don't find it annoying, but I do find it rather funny. If it's a good enough of a book then when I wake up the next day I can just slip back into it. It's nothing to be embarrassed or annoyed by. You just fell asleep. Relaxation could probably be the cause. I remember one time I was meditating while on a trip in a car. Counting in my head, and I fell asleep sitting up. I got relaxed and I could hear all the white noise around me and it was happy and comforting and warm, and I just konked out. Book sleeping is the same thing.

I can read until 4am and still want to read more. Then again, I never sleep anyways. :techie-studyinggray:

Typically this happens to me while I am reading in bed, right before bedtime. So it is the end of the day and I am already tired. But if it is during the day and I read while in another room of the house, I do not. Also depends on the book I am reading at the time. If it is a really good book then no, I can't hardly read it fast enough and cannot wait to pick it up again!
