I usually don't, unless I'm genuinely tired and haven't had a proper sleep in ages (Two kids. It happens. A lot.) Or when the room is stuffy and in good need of airing it out.
But I do remember when I was expecting my first baby and this overwhelming fuzzy sleepy feeling that came over me whenever I tried to read for a while. More often than not I'd conk out with a book in my hand.

I can't read very well when I'm in bed, I usually read well when I'm sitting or focusing. I don't think it would help me fall asleep either. I try not to use any "method" to fall asleep other than actually closing my eyes and drifting off to sleep. It did happen once or twice though.

Yes, I wish I didn't but I do. It depends on how tired I am and usually only happens at night before bed. Sometimes I have to re-read what I was trying to the next day!

I used to have the bad habit of reading in bed, so I would often doze off while reading.

I believe it is a physiological trait that is built within all of us. After about 15 minutes of inactivity, our body begins to ready for sleep. This happens to me often, my eyes would shake and I could honestly just pass out! Once I learned this I have other methods to help. Like sitting in a rocking chair or frequent breaks to use the restroom or get water and healthy snacks. Quick chair exercises and yoga breaks are always a cure!

Hope this helps!

Yes, though this mostly happened when I was forced to read a book for school, which always ruined them for me. I never made it passed the first chapter of Pride and Prejudice. That was some of the best sleep I ever got.

Yes, but that is because I typically read before bed so my body and mind are already exhausted from the day.

I only fall asleep while reading if I'm already tired but as long as the book I'm reading is a good one, I'm be too involved to fall asleep.

Yes, and it is my sign that I need to go to bed! Do I? Sometimes. Sometimes, the book is just too darn good!

I tend to read at night, so getting sleepy while reading does occur. If the book is really good or I am at an intense part then I don't have trouble staying awake but if it is a slower part I have been known to nod off.

I never used to go to sleep while reading when I was young, but now that I'm...a little...older I do a lot. I find it annoying as well.

Yes, and it irks me! Sometimes I just want to finish a book but my sleepy self says otherwise. It could be because I read on my phone these days and it's causing an eyestrain.
