A day to a week usually for 500 pages. Depending on how much time I have to read and my level of obsession with the book. I can't remember the last 1000 page book I read honestly.

It depends. If am not so busy and the book is full of twists and mysteries to be unravelled, I will read on and on to find what happens next. I can finish the book in short period, like three days.

So a 500 page book takes me about 8 or 9 hours of reading. So if I have a lot of time, I can do it in two days, or one if its a weekend and I absolutely love the book. I usually don't choose to read 1000 page books, as they are a little intimidating for me. Especially if it's for a review, and I have to plan on reading the whole thing.

If its a long stephen king book like It or Under the Dome then itll take me half a month to read them.

But if its a Star Wars book then i breeze through them in 2-4 days

But for the first Mistborn book, well i started reading that back in December and its already February and Im still reading that

It absolutely depends on interest. If I'm really into it, a 500 page book in one afternoon is possible

It really depends on the book.

If it's a page turner, it will be over in a couple of days. If it's a bore, it may take me weeks.

That would take me a week. I like to read books that are around 300 pages.

Depending on my work schedule, I am usually able to read at least 100 pages per day.

For me it doesn't really depend on the page length, rather it depends on how much time I can take out from my daily routine to just sit down and read without any interruption.
I usually do most of my reading during the weekends - sometimes finishing a 500-page book in two days if it's a real page-turner.

It all depends on how busy I am. As a teacher, I don't get a lot of free time. Since quarantine has started, I've absolutely flown through books, regardless of length.

It usually takes me a week to two weeks to finish a 500 page book, depending on how much free time I get. If it's a real page-turner, I can finish the book in 2-3 days.

As everyone else has said, it completely depends on the book. Of course, how much I actually enjoy the book is a pretty big factor; for example, if its a part of a series that I already adore than I'll barely even realize how long it is. On top of that, the pace of the book itself plays into how quickly I can make my way through. There have definitely been times when I was really enjoying a book but it took me a very long time to get through because it had a dense plot and required patience (most recently this happened with Ninth House by Leigh Bardugo). There's also the question of time, and unless I carve out a specific amount of time solely for reading, life can tend to get in the way. Best case scenario, with a book I loved and free time on my hands, I could blow through 500 pages in two or three days.

It depends mainly on my free time. If I have a lot of free time in my hands, I can finish reading the book much earlier.

A 500 page book usually takes me around 5 to 6 days, it all depends on how busy I am or how interesting the book is.
