I read the first three stories and wow! There are definitely some talented people here! I'm hoping to finish it this weekend because I am so curious about the other short stories in this book.

I finished reading
Holding Fire , and the only negative thing that I can say is I wish I would've picked it up sooner! All ten authors showcase their unique writing styles to create such a great collection of short stories about self-destruction. Each story is different from the other. The stories are great to read one after the other or in between books. If you haven't read it, definitely pick it up!

Sure, I'll give "Holding Fire" a try! I need to expand my reading of short stories anyways. The fact that the authors are talented forum members is a nice bonus.

I think it was Book of the Month when it first came out in 2015. I can't remember for sure. But, of course, you should read it. It's got some interesting stories in it.
