Yes, I think that would be great! We could open a topic for each author (who is willing).

There is a topic like that open with Forever Twelve right now.

I appreciate all the excitement so much! Thank you all who have read or are going to read the book! :D

May I ask an additional favor too. Will you each go to the Bookshelves page for Holding Fire and click the two easy-to-use links to share it on Twitter and Facebook. Thank you so much!

Separate author topics sounds like a good idea to me :D I can't wait for the discussions in May.

I am definitely getting my copy soon. I love the fact that it is 10 different stories. I imagine it will allow all readers to enjoy the book because even if you don't enjoy some of the stories you are bound to enjoy at least one of them.

I have never been a fan of short stories. I know that there are wonderful and fantastic short stories out there but they are over to soon. I feel like I've glimpsed through a puddle an amazing world and now I can't see it anymore. I want to enjoy so much more than just a taste! But with such high regards, I may be willing to give shot stories one more shot.

I agree....I think you will enjoy this collection of stories. I've read four of the stories so far and they were all inventive and interesting.

I've been chipping away at the short stories for a little while now, finding time between all of my class reading, and after finally finding time to finish reading all ten all I can say is that they absolutely blew me away. While, I definitely enjoyed some more than others, I found all of them to be great. It was especially refreshing to take in so many different writing styles all utilized so well to fit various stories. So, another reason to read Holding Fire (as if any more need to be given), it offers a whole world of discussion and thought about how different writing techniques and styles can be implemented depending on the plot line at hand.

It sounds like an interesting read!
I'm interested in how "Holding Fire" put together different stories by different authors and what style each writer wrote and also if the stories are connected...

The stories are by different writers and are not connected although they have a common theme. :)
