I sometimes react aloud by laughing at funny scenes in the book or mumbling, which makes my mom think I am going crazy.

I will laugh or cry sometimes I move my mouth to the word with no sound but only usually if I’m really into the book. I never even notice I did it until my mother would ask what book I’m reading cause she realized that I did it with my favorites.

I don't read out loud except academic books so in trying to understand, I might say it out. But I do find myself exclaiming or talking to characters when they do some things.

If there's a plot twist, fast-moving scene, or some kind of climax, I'll re-read while mouthing the words, or squint at the words while mouthing them really fast to make sure they sink in while I catch up to where I should already be. Sometimes I'll mimic the nuances of the characters, such as facial expressions, or read their dialogue in a low whisper to picture it in my head correctly. It could be called crazy, but to me, it's just part of the immersive process.

I don't usually move my mouth or whisper but when someone is making too much noise around me, i start to whisper to make sense of what am .reading.

Not weird at all. When I'm having trouble following a book I always begin to move my lips. It helps me focus on the book and not wander off. However, I usually don't whisper when other people are around me.
