You just need to find an Ereader cover that smells like an old book. ;)

i love the smell of books. For awhile i was only reading books on my kindle, where i could just take it with me without carrying a book, but just recently i started going back to physical books and every time i have one especially an older book I always smell it.

I love the smell of a fresh book - it takes me back to my happy kid days, opening and engrossing in a new, fun book for the first time :3

To some extent yes, because it really gives me a rough idea of what am going to get or read about inside. thus sniffing a book is a motivation kind of....

I think book-sniffing is the secret handshake of bibliophiles. Others of the tribe recognize me when I take a good whiff; I recognize them when they don't laugh.

Pretty much everything I read these days is on a screen, which I definitely do not sniff.

So I've got to be honest.....I laughed really hard at this. Not because it was weird but because of how much I can relate!!! Everytime I step into a book store i take a deep breath and feel all of the weight on me just float away. I always have to smell my books before I buy them, or even if i dont buy them. Its like a sort of balm for the soul. Books and coffee. My two favorite smells.

I absolutely love the smell of books! But my favorite book smell is the smell of old books, and those are the ones I like to get a really good and thorough whiff of

But I only smell them if I already own them! I would feel weird walking around a bookstore sniffing books and using my sniffer to decide which books to buy
