A few months ago I read The Fault in Our Stars in one sitting. Then I ended up reading it again after I saw the movie.

I read the entire Hunger Games series in two days, basically I read the first and third in one sitting and the second book in two.

I read Chinese Cinderella, and that was amazing, and I cried my way through that one. The same day, I got the adult version, Falling Leaves, and read the whole thing the same day. I love Adeline Yen Mah, and her writing is fabulous! Otherwise, I usually read just about any book in one sitting, or two, mostly.

I read Eleanor and Park by Rainbow Rowell in one sitting... kind of. I stood up and changed positions/where I sat but I read it in a day. That still counts, right?

A while back, I read Marked by Kristen and P.C. Cast in one day. I rarely have time to sit down and read a book from start to finish. I think that I also read the first or second Harry Potter books by J.K. Rowling in one sitting. I like taking breaks between chapters to get up and stretch and/or grab a snack!

I like to get the Harlequin romance books sometimes and I can read one of those in one sitting. :) I like them because they use all different types of authors.

Just last week - Help for the Haunted by John Searles.

One night. I probably took a bathroom or snack break somewhere but it was a one-sitting read otherwise.

I remember doing that with the 6th Harry Potter book. I read it so quickly after I barley remembered what happened. I also did this with one of the Twilight books back when they were the craze. Those books just got progressively worse as they went. Oddly enough I only seem to read straight through really long books in one sitting.

About a month ago I picked up The Reader by Bernhard Schlink and finished in about 8 hours. At first I was just captured by how bizarre it starts out, then there was a twist, I was attached, and it quickly ended. I even turned on the movie immediately after and watched that too.

If I really like a book, I have a hard time putting it down. I will go through a book in one sitting if it really interests me. The last book I read in one sitting was The Fault in Our Stars. I know a lot of people think it's quite overrated, but I loved everything about it.
