Shoot me first!.....considering my ever increasing TBR list, I can 't see using up time on a " kiddie-book "........been there done that kinda thang!

However, I still enjoy watching the " The Wizard of Oz " w/my grandson, a wonderful trip down memory lane for both of us...

But so many are such quick reads. Makes you feel like you are really progressing on the TBR list as you tick each one off! A feeling of accomplishment! ;) :D

Definitely not! Some of the best books written are for kids. I love anything by Roald Dahl (especially the BFG and The Witches) and Dr. Suess. Plus numerous others. It's an important stage in growing up, and books can have an enormous impact on us. It's good to be able to go back to a story and feel that feeling again. I work with kids and get to revisit the stories again and again. I feel very lucky.

Never. At least for me. In fact I'm reading a children's book titled the only thing worse than witches. I've just started but, so far I've laughed at something on every page.

A trip down memory lane always brings a smile to my face. Now as a mother, I try to read books prior to allowing my children to ensure they are appropriate especially the "pre-teen" ones. For the younger ones, reading them first helps me prepare my "voices" for when the children and I read together.

NEVER! Technically the Harry Potter books are for that age. If you enjoy those books who is to judge? A book is a book! Reading is inspiring and lovely!

Nope. No possible way. I COLLECT children's books. In fact, 300 of my 500 books are children's books, including some Nancy drew and Hardy Boys. I like to collect the entire series if possible.

never! A few days ago, my I found myself reading the first three books of The Diary of a whimpy kid, and I found it pretty funny, even though it was meant for a younger audience.

I honestly don't believe a person is too old for children or middle school books. I still read Percy Jackson and a bunch of other adult people still read Harry Potter with more delight than I'm comfortable with.

Just reviewed a book I would classify as an older middle grade reader, and I thought it was amazing. So innocent and clean, yet exciting and just amazing. I loved it! Best book I've read for review yet!

I don't think a person is ever too old for children's books. Now that I have two little girls I have an "excuse" to read them!
