Haha you know what I think it was. That's good to know. BTW there was nothing "softcore" about this passage... it included pretty much every word that cannot be uttered on national television, had aspects of BDSM and I'm not sure everything was entirely consensual. Definitely changed the way I viewed women writers... then again with the exception of Ayn Rand I can't remember the last time I read a book written by a woman.imstilljoeypotter wrote:LOL! Was it a passage from one of her Sleeping Beauty books? That's a series of erotic fantasy books by her that I didn't discover until I was an adult. It's completely different content-wise from the Vampire Chronicles, so don't worry. I was definitely NOT reading softcore porn in middle school.

I read everything I could online and but took time away from books until about 18 months ago when I had my daughter. I decided I wanted to read and I ordered the Twilight book for $4 along with several other cheap books... I had no idea what I was getting into other then all the books I bought were vampire related. Let me tell you how happy I was to open my mind again. Now I read a book every 2 days and my husband thinks I am nuts.
