No, but if I get a call and it's not anybody important I will reject it or just turn off the ringer. I don't usually have it on me anyways unless I am reading off of it.

My fiance did that just a few months ago. He was reading Agenda 21 by Glenn Beck and Harriet Parke. I remember asking him how he was able to read comfortably when the print was so small. Like my nook the font can be adjusted.

I turn down the volume. I need quiet when I read or write.

I keep my phone on. Like most other people in this forum, I tend not to answer calls if i'm really into a book. I do however listen to light music on Pandora. It really relaxes me. A little background music is always nice!

I don't ever turn it off but I don't usually answer it if I'm reading or otherwise... I like to screen calls... But I would never leave a book without a very good reason.

No, but then I never turn it off unless it needs to update. I do however, ignore calls and I even do that when I'm not reading. But I will ignore texts while I'm reading, not so much ignore them, but just not text back right away.

No, I do not turn off my phone when I'm reading. I do most of my reading on my kindle app on my cell phone so I have to have it turned on to read. Even when reading a hard-copy of a book, I still leave my phone on. I've silenced it before when reading but I never shut it off.

No I don't, but I think I should try this. I get easily distracted and I'll read texts I get but not answer them anyway because I want to go back to reading.

I'm usually able to jump back into a story after being interrupted but I usually just don't answer when someone texts or calls.

I only turn it to silent if its been ringing during the time I read. If no one calls/texts then it just stays on loud.

I almost always keep my phone on silent so I don't need to do anything special to it when I read.

No. But to be fair I only text 2 people (and that's not even daily) and the only calls I receive are from Little Miss' school. So no calls during the Summer. I don't have many distractions.
