I have too many to choose just one!

My favourites include the Six of Crows duology by Leigh Bardugo, Ransom Rigg's Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children trilogy, The Kingkiller Chronicles by Patrick Rothfuss, and The Gentleman Bastard series by Scott Lynch.

My favorite book is I will love you forever. It is a short story written for the audience of young children. But, my baby was born at 27 weeks. Therefore we spent three months in the nic unit before she was able to come home. But everyday I read here that book it was just something about it that took hold of me throughout that time.

A fascinating novel which is prophetic in the same way as 1984 is The Camp of the Saints (Le Camp des Saints) by Jean Raspail. Written in 1973, it made the bestseller list in 2011.

My favorite book of all time is A Ring of Endless Light by Madeleine L'Engle. It is the last book of a series about the Austin Family. It is a young adult book, and yet I have loved it for years. I read it for the first time in college for my Children's Lit class, and I have read it several more times over the years. It is a story about Vicky Austin and her family who move to an island to stay with her grandfather who is dying from Cancer. While she is there she visits a marine biology station where they are doing studies on dolphins. Vicky befriends a dolphin who in a way comforts her through the loss of her grandfather.

My favorite book was a series started and finished by Carl Saberhagen. It is called the book of swords. The version that I read was the trilogy in one book, and I could not put it down. I read this one through to the end in 38 hours of straight, uninterrupted reading. The descriptions he provides really puts the reader in the story completely. Looking forward to reading more content like this.

As hard as I think about it, I can't seem to come up with a favorite book. Maybe I just need to read more books (or expand my genre) to find a favorite book. I do find that I enjoy books that are a series.
