My favorite book is Raptor Red. It was my first chapter book ever. And it was about my favorite dinosaur. It brings you into the lives of a single female raptor...from birth to death.

I can read and reread Pawn of Prophecy by David Eddings. Here is another author that I can read anything they write. I used to have each book in the three series of his but I was able to find books that have around 3 books a piece which is super convenient.

I know my favorite book but I don’t know what it says about me. It’s called the Lost Marble Notebook of Forgotten Girl and Random Boy. It’s written by Narie Jaskulka.
It is hands down my favorite book. And absolutely not what I expected. At all. It’s actually recommended for junior high kids and high school kids. Which was my demographic when I first read it but I feel like it applies to all age groups.
First off, the beautifully written. It’s a poetry book and it kills me every time. The way she draws you into the story is phenomenal.
I wish I could say what it’s about but if I said too much it would totally ruin it. You have to fall into the story. All I feel comfortable saying is that It’s a story of first love and growing up.
I highly recommend it and it truly opened my eyes in a lot of ways.

The Alchemist, Paulo Coelho. This book allowed me to understand myself better and helped me heal when I was going through a difficult time.
It was the first book I read from him, thereafter I haven't stop reading his books and I keep on learning from each one of them.

"The Long Road Home", by Danielle Steel. Why? I can't seem to forget it. It's stuck in my head like my brain. I read it a long time ago, but I can't just seem to forget it.

I am currently reading Sherman Alexie's memoir, You Don't Have to Say You Love Me. It's amazing how gut-level honest Alexie is about the complex, complicated relationship he had with his mother, strongly brought into focus by her death. In poems, vignettes, tributes and anguished memories, Alexie works through his pain, pride and anger in a very powerful way.
