I would guess about 6 or 7 years old. I loved books before I could read. I remember the last book my mother read to me before I started reading on my own was David and the Phenix.

I remember having to read a certain amount of pages each night in elementary school, which I pretty much doubled on a regular basis. I cannot remember an age when I did not love to read.

I can't remember a time when I didn't love reading. My mom said I took to books like a fish to water. I know I started reading a ridiculous amount during fifth grade. We would get points for reading books and taking quizzes on them. That was also around the time I fell in love with Shakespeare.

I think i was about 9 when i discovered my love for books. Unfortunately during university it cinsiderably waivered. Picked back up during my first pregnancy and has never decreased since... i just had a bit more trouble actually finding books i'd like to read. That has fortunately gotten better since i've joined here. :tiphat:
Between the pages of a book is a lovely place to be...

At the age of four, before I even know how to read, I already love books. So when I finally learned how to read I spent most of my free time in our school library.

I was 7 years old then and I started with the ladybird series of Beauty and the Beast. I haven't looked back since then.

I don't even know. I have always loved to read it seems. I think when I started to really get into reading is when I was 8, 9, or 10 maybe. My parents have always told me I loved to read and I just remember reading always being one of my favorite things even in school when the teacher made us read a certain book. I loved almost every book I have read in school. Reading has always been apart of my life I guess.

I was 7 when I realized reading is fun and stole my first book on accident at 8. I checked out The Giving Tree and then went on vacation. I must have read it 100 times, by the time I got back it was late and I didn't want to yelled at so i just kept it.

I was around 8 when I started reading story books. I picked this interest from my elder brother. He loved books and as soon as he finished one I would take it. The interesting part was that, when I was done reading we would talk about the characters and the different experiences with the book.

I think I always loved to read. My mom taught me how to read and write before I started kindergarten and I have never stopped ever since. :lire4:

As soon as I learned how to read. I always had a vibrant and active imagination and books encouraged it so I gravitated towards them and my love of reading has stuck ever since.
