With series, I hate watching the ones that aren't completed, but with book it's completely different. I have about 3 book series that I just read the first one in the series and now I have to wait for the other ones.

I would prefer not to. My OCD does not like to stop in the middle of a series. I LOVE to sit down with one book and read it all the way to the end. Otherwise, I will be reading and re-reading the books until the series is completed.

I will and I have. I do this all the time. I'd prefer a compld series, but if it's really intriguing. I'll go ahead and pick it up regardless.

Given the question, I wouldn't start reading a trilogy or any other series because I want it to have some end. Mostly because I don't like mixing stories, but I want to finish one to switch to another.

Of course, there is no reason not to. I can always wait for the next book in the series. I am not in any particular hurry.

No, the waiting game would be too exhausting. I would rather go for the complete trilogy.

I would. I read Soman Chainani's Camelot Years sub Trilogy for School for Good and Evil. He still haven't finished the last book.

I do this all the time, sometimes on accident and sometimes on purpose. If the opening book sounds particularly good, I will read it right away and then regret it once I don't have another book to move onto.

I absolutely do not start reading trilogies that aren't finished. I will usually put it in my ''Want to Read' pile of books and wait urgently for all the books to be published. I've realized that if I read the first book in a trilogy without all of them being out, I will forget about the series in the future.

Yes. I don't mind. If the opening book is really good, I would read it.

I actually have no problem with this, as long as the series get’s finished in a reasonable timeframe.

I prefer to read the series once it is complete but I don't mind reading a book at a time as they come out. I will just reread the book before I pick up the next in whatever series I am reading.
