I don't care for westerns. I live in the west so maybe that takes away some of the uniqueness that other people might find.

Non-fiction usually. Only because I get bored reading it.

Once in a while it would be sci-fi since I'm unable to find books that I like in that genre once in a while, but I do try to read books from every genre that come my way.

I usually don´t like non-fiction books about early modern wars and about modern weapons.

Horror books. My job can be very stressful so I tend to choose more happy, feel good books.

I'm not a fan of self-help books.

I think, unless it's a very specialised subject, that most things these days can be understood by searching the net. Too many of them state the obvious, quite literally copied and pasted from the web straight to print.

I generally do not like non-fiction books. They make me bored, but sometimes if the topic is so interesting I might enjoy them a little especially if the number of pages is less than 200.

I stay well clear off the serious horror genre. I am that sort of guy who gets intimidated easily and the scary thoughts always haunts my dreams. I sometimes read comedy horror books.like Goosebumps by RL Stine but otherwise i don't give a second glance to horror books. This not only applies to books but to movies as well.

I steer clear of science fiction. I've tried to read it, but I just can't get into it.

I am usually willing to give any book a shot, however, I find romance novels are usually my least favorite books. Unfortunately I feel the plots for romance novels are so formulaic! I want to read something different, something that will keep me guessing. Unfortunately I have rarely (if ever) found this in romance novels.

Fantasy/sci-fi and poetry are the genres I am not a fan of. Horror is not my favorite but if I'm in the mood I'll read it. I don't like poetry mostly because I find it hard to understand and relate to. I don't like fantasy because I am a realist and like my books to be the same. I love non-fiction, romance, and Christian related books.
