The one that sticks out the most is when the last Harry Potter book came out. I was at a friend's house and she had it but hadn't read it yet. While she slept I quickly read it, probably within in six hours. Then when she woke up I slept!

An average sized book maybe 2 or 3 hours. I read all 4 twilight books in two days. All of the first five Harry Potters in about four days. The sixth, and seventh, I bought the night they came out and had them read by the next morning.
Somewhere out there is a world we never knew existed.

Languages never spoken.
Colors that should not be.
Lives never opened.
Eyes that never see.

And then the page is turned, a universe created.

We are gods.

If I'm really enthralled and have lots of time on my hands, I can read a book in 2-3 hours. I used to do this all the time, but family and my job make that next to impossible anymore! However, I'm about to get two weeks off for Christmas (I work at an elementary school), so I'll be able to indulge in marathon reading again very soon :D

If I am engaged with the book, it can take as little as a few hours. But sometimes, I really like to savor a scene and I re-read a few pages. That's what makes books such ideal entertainment!

A couple hours. It really depends on the size of the book.

It depends on the book of course and how deeply it grabs me. I read The Art of Racing in the Rain in 6hrs and in 1 sitting. On a road trip and my husband was doing the driving. It was one of the rare instances where I was able to read and ride without getting sick.

The shortest length of time was probably about 4-5 hours.. Most of the time it takes a whole day.

Five hours. But that includes the time it took me to move from dads house to mums house, eat dinner and have toilet brakes. So it wasn't five hours of reading. I started the book at 1pm and finished it that night at 6pm.
But I once ready for 23 hours without any breaks at all and finished three books.
So many books to read, so little time..

I binge read the Hunger Games series in 2 days. I typically read quickly, and it's hard for me to stop in the middle of a book.
