I think if you are planning to give your books, make sure it is to someone who wants to read but don't have money to buy books, like a donation.

If you are tight on budget, selling books is more practical :)

I would never sell or give away books. I wish to gift those treasure to my next generation. Maybe I will lend the books to those who wants to read but I will never sell or give away.

I get most of my books at Library sales. It's perfect. I would say selling books is fine, it allows it to circulate. I just hope you don't sell something you will live to regret.
A process cannot be understood by stopping it. Understanding must move with the flow of the process, must join it and flow with it.

The only person who can sympathize with and understand you, is you. So, be good to yourself.

I like to either donate my unwanted books to the publuc library. Sometimes I will also give my books to a relative for their 'little free library'.

18 years ago I would always sell off old books for just 25 cents if paperback or 75 cents if hardcover.

These days I have too many books to get organized for rummage sales that i pretty much just toss them in the garbage.

Even found a couple of books based on the tv show 24 that i bought the books from Dollar General years ago. I dont read them anymore so I just threw them away earlier today
