Re: Read in a foreign language?
I like reading books in Spanish on my kindle because you can go right to the dictionary by touching a word you don't know, and then if you still can't quite get it you can always click on translate.
I also like subscribing to newspapers in Spanish on my kindle - you can try them for free.

I live in Japan, where everyone is really into manga. Reading Japanese is really hard, but recently, I've picked up some manga for kids, and that's helped my reading skills improve a little bit. My slang and conversation skills have improved as well, since it's modtly dialogue. Plus it's fun, getting to look at pictures while I read.
