Longest book I've ever read would probably be at least 600 pages. Probably more

A Suitable Boy by Vikram Seth - at 1349 pages (1488 pages softcover) and 591,552 words. Phew! It took me 6 months to complete it. FANTASTIC PIECE OF FICTION

The Harry Potter books are pretty long excluding the first one.

I've never read any of the Harry Potter books - I admire JK Rowling though

I think Gone with the Wind was a fairly long book. Also Bill Clinton's biography was endless!

It by Stephen King is a doozy with its 1093 pages, as well as Under the Dome that's 1000+ pages. There is also Gravity's Rainbow by Thomas Pynchon which is over 1000 pages as well. I've also wanted to read Gone with the Wind but that's a commitment!

I've read the entire Wheel of Time series by Robert Jordan. I'm not sure which was the longest. Book 9 felt the longest. (Nothing actually happened.) Sorry Robert.

Under the Dome by Stephen King. Over a thousand pages I believe (and it never got boring).

The longest book I have ever read would have to be Gone with the Wind as well as it's predecessor Scarlett!!! Both were amazing and so detailed. If there ever is a book/movie combo. The book is always so much better!
