Length does not really matter as long asthe book is well written.Page turners would not make you feel how long a book is.Nonetheless, length is for brevity so I guess 300 to 400 is good.

I prefer books that are 400+ pages, because that's how I know it's going to be really descriptive and I won't be sad that it is over so soon, haha.

I like books that are short, sweet and to the point. If a book drags on for no reason, than I find the book to have been a waste.

200+ pages. The book I'm reading right now is about 350 pages and I think that's perfect.

I prefer books that are over 200 pages, but will read short stories every now and then especially if its a collection of them.

It depends on the genre and what I'm in the mood for. Ideally something between 350 to 400 pages is what I find myself reading the most. If it's a family saga or historical fiction book I would like it to be longer.

I love books with plenty of pages (about 700 pages and above). It makes them worth buying. But I usually go for 300 pages. Thick books are reserved for special occasions.

I absolutely agree about book length. If its a short story it can be shorter but anything less than 300 pages can't give you the needed elements or detail to give you a developed character or resolve the conflict.

For fictional books, I like 300-400 page books. Nonfiction, up to 700 will do.

300 pages is that sweet spot where I can shotgun the whole book in an afternoon. I love that feeling. :)

I’m sorry to say that I don’t have a lot of time to read—two little kids and a demanding job pull me in a lot of different directions. And I like to have a sense of completion, so I usually prefer books that are on the shorter side: 200 pages or less.

I don't care about the length, if a book is good I will read it. If it's not, then even 100 pages are too many.

Great big, long epic books with a great story do the trick for me. If it's a series even better

The average length of what I read is 150-200 pages but I love a longer reads. I just read a 500 page book and it was amazing. It didn't feel like it was rushed anywhere and it felt like I got 2 good reads instead of 1. I do need a minimum of 150 pages to feel like I got some substance.
