I vary a lot.

If I'm reading a set of books for an assignment, I read back to back. If it's on my own time I wait a bit depending on spare time and mood (an hour, a week, or a month). I have no real patterned behavior.

I don't wait. I just grab another from my TBR pile. Especially since I have a book club that sends me a new book once a month

I' ve always loved reading. I can't stay without reading some pages of a book a day. So I don't wait at all. I start reading another book immediately.

Immediately - I always like to have 1 or 2 new books on standby, for when I complete the current one.

Sometimes I wait a while, just depends on what's available or what has caught my attention.

It really depends on what all I have going on in my life and how much time I have to read. Some times I will start immediately on another book and sometimes I will go days sometimes even weeks without starting another book.

Usually I just jump right into the next book unless the one I just finished was really good, when that happens I wait until I can find something intriguing enough to start reading.

I read multiple books at one time. I currently have 10 books I’m reading. Each one gets the same number of pages read every other day.

I've tried to do that in the past, but I always end up mixing the stories up in my head.

Wait? There's a wait time? I'm usually reading two or three books at a time so there's no waiting. :)

The time in between reading books depends on several factors: how long I have been reading in a session, if its a boxset, if I'm sad about finishing the book and wish it had lasted longer, and if I have a deadline.

If I was up all night or have been reading all day I will probably take a break. If the book is really good and I own the next in the series I might jump right into the next one.

I am ever reading two or three books at the same time. I guess my waiting time is on the negative side

It depends on my mood, the book i just finished, and if I have other obligations. I sometimes start a new book the second i finish the old one. And sometimes I wait. But never more than a month! I'd be totally lost without new stories in my mind.
