I can't do more than two without getting all mixed up. It's much easier for me to just finish the one I'm reading before moving on to another one.

I am only mentally capable of reading one book for pleasure at a time. I do read multiple reference books at a time, however, if I'm trying to teach myself something or learn a new hobby. I find it helpful to read multiple references books at time. If I don't understand what one is trying to tell me I can reference the other one for help. Also, I may like the formatting of one, but the content of the other.

I usually read two books at a time. Mainly because I always have soo many books on my reading list. But that aside, I prefer reading two books at a time. If I end up finishing one first or reading one book more than the other then that explains that I like that one better than the other. Thay way I have an opportunity to compare the two and formulate a well-structured review.

I purposely read more than one book at once so that I don't rush through one book too fast. I won't read books on the same topic or more than one fiction book at a time so that I don't get confused or mixed up.

I usually have two going at once, and I'm not really even sure why. I've been doing that since I was a little girl and it seems to work.

Only one at a time. I like finishing the task at hand first.

I usually read two or three books at once. I have a good memory when it comes to books, so I find it easy to keep up. To me, it's no more difficult than watching a few tv shows at the same time.

One at a time. I like putting my focus on a book till I'm through.

I usually read one book at a time. Sometimes two, but that usually happens when one of them is a book I'm reading for a second time.

It depends on the nature of the book for me. I mostly switch between 3 books. If my interest in the first book is waning, I switch to the second book, then to the third book. Then back to the second book or to the first book depending on the level the book can hold my attention.

I can only read through one book at a time, otherwise I get distracted and I feel bad about "abandoning" the book in favor of another.

I can read say 4-5 books at thesame time.
I would rather say that it depends anyway because whenever am in school, I read up to 3 school books then some other fictional ebooks that I buy online.

During exams it could even get higher, there is one thing with this reading pattern anyway you tend to get perplexed more time than not especially when you start mixing things up from the stuffs you read in previous books.

Definitely one book at a time so that I can take all my time to read and understand otherwise I will get confused reading different books at once.
