I have tried the reading of multiple books at a time. I don't get confused at all. It's quite doable, actually. I just find I prefer reading one book at a time and giving it my undivided attention.

For me, I only read one book at a time, this is because I think reading many books at a the same time may lead to confusion.

Well, in college I would read about about 5 to 12 books at the same time. But, that was many years ago (before the internet) and out of necessity. Now, I don't read anymore than 3 or 4 books at the same time. I am currently reading 3 books now.

Two or three. When I get tired of one I dive into the other.

I try not to read more than two. Even if I am reading two most of the time I'm really just reading one of them and putting the other on hold.
A process cannot be understood by stopping it. Understanding must move with the flow of the process, must join it and flow with it.

The only person who can sympathize with and understand you, is you. So, be good to yourself.

I cannot read more than a book at once. I would rather just put a book down for good than read multiple books at once.

I tend to read about 4 at a time because 2 would be on audio. It would be one nonfiction in print, one classic in print, one audiobook that's light reading, and one audiobook that's heavy. I don't find I get confused because I read them at different times in the day. Usually one book is dedicated to the bedside table and so on.

I read more then one book at a time. I generally have the book that I am reviewing, my book in the car, and the one in my house. I have no problem keeping them straight. It probably has to do with when I was in school and had multiple reading assignments at the same time. The best advice to give is slowly work your way into reading multiple books is this. Start your book then read a book that you have read before because then you are just remembering what you already absorbed and your brain will then focus on the new information more.

I read around 3 at a time. I generally have one that is in my car so I am never without a book. It is usually a book that has multiple short stories. One in the house which is generally the newest book in the various series that I read. And then the book that I am reviewing that goes with me everywhere!

It depends on the quality of the book. If it's interesting, then I stick only to it. If not, I hop on to the next one, reading both at a time.

I would read 2 or 3 books at once because there is a lot to be read. But I will be choosing different genres, so that it won't be confusing.
