If I like a book, and know someone who might enjoy it as well, I pass it on. I don't know how many books I would have if I didn't give many away. On my shelves right now there are probably around 200. I have over 600 on my Kindle if that counts. I've read quite of few of those as well. Love books.

I own less than 10 and half of those are reference and field guides. I have a serious pass it along habit. If I didn't like it, I trade it in for something new and if I did like it, I hang on to it until someone seems like they would enjoy it and pass it along.

Between physical books and ebooks, I'm sure I currently have at least 200 titles. Since I live in an apartment, I have limited space for books. So, I've had to shed some from time to time to make room for new ones. Cost is also an issue. So most of the books I've read over my lifetime have come from the library.

I probably have around a hundred books at this time. Every year we go through our books and clear out a bunch to be donated. That way I have more room for new books.

I only own a couple dozen that I've picked up here or there, but when I finish reading them, I give them away or trade them. I like to keep my physical possessions to a minimum.

I have a little over 300. I am a teacher though, so a big majority of my books are in my classroom library. It's easier to get one of my students hooked on a book if I can give them recommendations and short summaries. They have access to just about my whole book collection, but of course there's a select few I keep for myself.

I tried to do something similar, but got overwhelmed very fast. I have ebooks, physical books, audiobooks. Autographed books, books falling apart lol
Eventually, I'll get them all listed on my bookshelf, then maybe I'll have a good idea.
