I don't own a lot of books. I usually get them second hand or from the free bookbox in our village, and after I finish reading them, they go either back to the bookbox, or I pass them along to a friend who might enjoy it.

I've recently turned to ebooks since I can easily store them in Google drive and revisit them later.

My husband recently turned one of our bedrooms into our study/library. I cataloged all of my books and the total is currently 376! That includes books from my childhood that I brought home from my parents house.

Why not change your house into a library?

That's disastrous. You better collect more books. However, it is fine if you go the electronic way.

Even I prefer to read the physical copies of the book, but it's just that I don't get a monthly allowance. So my finances over the books are really tight..

My wife and I recently went through a huge purge of books and took them for trade-in value for a few newer releases we wanted. So we went from five bookshelves to three. Our last count was upwards of 500....physical books. We both have a lot of digital ones on our Kindles!

If I'm counting both academic textbooks, devotional book, Christian literature, those I've borrowed out and never returned and those ones download from here. I'll be counting up to nearly 1000

Around 400. New additions every month. I haven't read most of the, though. I inherited around 300.
