There's small public library in my area. Every neighbourhood has one small library and the main public library was located at the town area.

Yes, we have one in every part of our town. But it's exactly that, really little/small.

We have a fantastic library and community center in my town. They have computers available for public use. They rent books as well as audible books.
Our library is part of a group of libraries that have crossover loaning. If my local library (1.1 miles from my door) doesn't have a book, but one of the libraries in the network does, they will transport the book to the local one for loaning.
They are now part of a e-reading lending group. I used that extensively until I purchased my Kindle Unlimited subscription.
A few years ago, when I was out of work, I visited the library 2 days a week to keep on some sort of schedule. It helped me overcome the depressed feelings of unemployment.
The library is a wonderful place in our community. I am thrilled that we still have one.

I've seen quite a few of these pop up in residential neighborhoods. It's such a brilliant idea to get more people reading.

I think the apartment complex I lived in in Fortworth had one in the business center. I love the idea of having one at work. I'll have to think about that and where we might be able to house one.

There are quite a few in my town. I’m aware of at least 5! And my town is not that big. I love it and regularly contribute and borrow from them. I’ve enjoyed quite a few books I found there and contributed over a dozen I had finished myself. I love it because there isn’t a due date, so no one has to worry if they can’t get through 500 pages in 3 weeks because they were busy.

Yes, My father has a library. Many youths in our place have free access to it. He's got many books, some are inspirational, some biography, health, historical, etc. It has been a joy to pick up books and read from his collection.
A joke is to entertain people. If it fails to do so, it's something else!

The "Little Free Library" sounds like a great idea. We live in our RV and most of the RV resorts we stay at have free libraries. Sometimes they are surprisingly extensive, and sometimes there are about 10 books. I would donate to all of them; however, I'm into Kindle and audiobooks now.

We have one in an old telephone box on the high street! When I lived in London there were loads all around as well. However, they were less of libraries and more book exchange locations. Whenever I get too many I would always distribute my giveaway stash between the book exchange shelves and a local charity shop.

I have not seen one in my area, but I have seen an example of one on television- so I see what you are talking about. I think that is a great idea to start one at work or in a neighborhood.

There are several of these that people have set up in their front yards around me, and they have them at the rec centers by me too. I prefer to go to the free "big" libraries that are paid for by my tax dollars, but I can see why this might be appealing to someone who might otherwise not think to read or go to the library.
