I killed a couple of books that way years ago. Now I don't seem to feel like taking baths and would rather shower. My books and tablet don't suffer that way.

All the time! Especially during winter. I love me a nice hot bath.

Yes, I have. Many times. Because I'm a rebel haha.

In truth, I'm terrified of getting water on my books but the benefits outweigh the risks in my opinion. Unless you're VERY clumsy, it's not very likely that you'll drop the book into the water.

I mean.. Read 'em in the bath at your own risk.. Don't blame me if you drop anything in there haha. :tiphat:

I don't like reading paper books in the bath because I am always afraid of dropping them and ruining them. Recently, however, I have read in the bath with my Nook. I propped it up on the toilet seat next to the tub and read as I sat in the bath. I wasn't afraid of dropping it because it wasn't actually over the bath. I would like to possibly get a tray to put over the bath tub so I can read more comfortably.

I do all the time! I need to invest in a bath tray though so my arms don't get as tired trying to hold my book up!

Nope. I think that it's a bit risky for the book. I don't want it to fall in, but I also don't want to risk becoming pruny from spending such a long time in the bath. :lol2:

I have but then the water gets cold before I actually get around to bathing. I would rather take a bath, get out, get comfy in some flannel pjs and then read!

No, I'd be afraid to get the book wet and ruin it.

I've been tempted to, but honestly, I'm too afraid of my books getting wet. They're just never the same after they dry. :?

If I took baths I definitely would bring my book in fear of getting it wet.
