Absolutely! But honestly, I carry a book with me wherever I go. I actually have a dentist appointment on Monday, so I'll make sure not to forget my book that day ahah.

if im at the doctor's, im sure to be pretty anxious and nervous, two conditions i dont want myself to be if im reading. at the doctor's, i refrain from bringing the book, but i do flip aimlessly at photographic picture magazines scattered on coffee tables in waiting rooms.

I don't do this but I have seen others do it. I don't spend much time in the doctor's office so it doesn't usually occur to me to bring a book. Now that I have kids I usually spend my time keeping them entertained when I have to go in.

If I am going to be anywhere that I have to wait, I take a book. It's a lot easier now that I can read on my phone.

I always bring a book to places I think I am going to have to wait at. Some examples are the doctor's office, dentist's office, mechanic, and hair salon. I feel like I should empower my mind a little instead of forcing myself to look at the boring magazines or TV. I'm sometimes excited to go and read if I'm reading a good book and hope they take longer!

When I'm in the waiting room at the dentist.... I always have a book to read while I wait. Very relaxing and the time flies by :)

It's good for passing the time because I find the magazine selections really boring.

Yes definitely! What a way to make the waiting times feel like a breeze. Whenever I forget my book and I had to read a magazine it always depressed me a bit that I'm using this free time to read junk about celebrities rather than indulge in a well written book

Of course! I do lots of waiting at the doctors office and I'd much rather spend all that time working on my book rather than staring at a wall!!

I guess it's down to why you have gone if it's something that reading makes worse bad head or eye issue then no but if you have a bad knee or something then yes it any book as to be better than what they supply in a waiting room
