Does small and compacted print discourage you from reading?

I too have noticed that as I have aged it is more difficult to read the smaller print. I then become annoyed that this book has made me remember my age. Then I finish the book anyway.

Yes. Smaller prints with little space in between lines annoy me. More so these days, because I've started reading ebooks and they're so flexible.

This can be a bit of a turnoff for me, but it's usually in the longer books and I think I would rather have compact type than an extra few hundred pages to lug around.

Definitely. I prefer big, spaced text.

Yes, the size of the print matters a lot to me. I love bigger prints and small paragraphs. When the paragraph is too long, it is not very appealing.

Yes, it does. Of course the book itself might be great, but if you're spending time straining your eyes in order to understand the book, it really takes some of the fun out of it.

I am a migraine sufferer, so yes. I adjust my kindle to the font size and style that I prefer.

It doesn't seem to bother me, I just don't read them when the lighting is dim or it strains my eyes!

I can read a book if the font size is 8 or above. It helps me to read faster. Very large font size is annoying, perhaps because of my age.

Overall, yes. I feel quite intelligent (haha) when I try to read small writing because most people wouldn’t exactly understand when they glance at the book I’m reading.

However, it is frustrating as hell when it comes to trying to understand what the words are. It’s even more frustrating when I don’t understand what’s in the book/story because the writing is so small.

I would not read a book if the text if too small. The small text really does discourage me.
