I really like books having artistic cover pictures that can be interpreted into the book's main theme. I just can't ignore reading covers and jump into the book.

When buying the book itself, I will read the summary and the author. A beautiful cover always catches my eye, but it isn't the deciding factor. Typically, I want the author's work itself and not the specifcally the cover or book material. Sometimes it helps to have a name like Neil Gaiman with a quote or blurb on top of the book.

Yes, always! I just can't start reading a book if I didn't read a cover .

I only read the summary and sometimes a couple of reviews.

Yes. I like to know what the book is about before I start reading. Also, it helps me decide whether to read the book.

Yes, I do. I enjoy the personal touches and also to know to whom the book is dedicated, the bio of the author and also to see how the cover fits in with the story.

Yes. I read the summary reviews to know in advance what the book is all about and if it's the type of book I would choose to read.

Yes, I just read the summary and save the author bio and the comments for after I finish the book, though. It's a quirky habit of mine that I've had ever since I could remember.
