I would protest, I don't use my local library. I prefer to by my books, but there are some who's only supplier of books is their local library. And closing a library would seriously damage a crucial part of the literary chain.

At first, I thought protest. But if they closed I am sure it would be for a reason that would cause them not to have the ability to open again. So, I would probably throw some elbows and punches to snatch the library books up for myself. Haha. Totally selfish and mean, but sometimes you have to do what you have to do.

I would protest it. I would also be very poor as I mostly can't afford to buy my own books and rely heavily on the library.

I would do the same. But if libraries were genuinely forced to close, I would probably cry for a bit, and then go score a bunch of cheap, old library books for my collection! ;)

Honestly, the only thing I can think of is running around in circles all the while yelling “Apocalypse! Run for your lives everybody! Remember to take all your books with you!! The world is ending!”

I would be absolutely screwed if my library closed as I rely on it for all my books! I would definitely protest aswell.

I'd probably cry, and protest of course. But hopefully that'll never happen!

It would upset me, but I don't use them that much. I don't check anything out from the library. I do like to go and sit down and read a book that I brought though.

i would cry, and then i would start a privately founded organization, asking someone like bill gates or warren buffet, anyone with money who's got an interest in philanthropy (see warren buffets sisters story in the news today) to help me get privately funded libraries up and running. They'd probably stay a lot nicer too, people who make money spend money and make more money. It can be a great cycle.

I would start a riot! I rarely buy books, so I love libraries.
