It all depends on the point of the visit. If it's for my quiet time i go to the quietest area to get on my laptop or read one of my own books. If my daughter's with me we head to the kid's room. If I want a new book it could be nearly any section, depending on my mood that day. I read nearly everything.

Sounds like you all have great libraries! I've given up on our local one. Most of the books I would like to read have to be ordered (1 euro per book) and it takes up to 3 months for them to be available.
Bloopers in my spelling or grammar?? A PM will be greatly appreciated... I do (almost) anything to improve my English!

Either young adult or fantasy, but I also like looking through the thrillers section. One section I always avoid is the smut section with all the Harlequins and Mills & Boons.

The New Fiction shelves (which conveniently face the front door!). Then Mysteries, then New Nonfiction, and then anything else that strikes my fancy.

I'm so excited to see how many of you head for the YA section! But then again I'm not sure how many of you are teens yourselves... I'm an "adult" of sorts (in my 20s) and I go straight for the YA section, too. I always feel kind of weird 'cause there are young children/REAL young adults there...

Well... fiction but that's a large one right? I like to check out the hardback classics or book collections. The section where you can find all the authors from A to Z I find kinda boring...

Young adult and the children's section, much more variety. The adult section usually only consists of non-fiction books and romance or erotica.
