When visiting the library which section do you head towards?

Well, since much of my library visits are for my granddaughter, I shoot for the children's section - primarily picture books.

I usually go with my daughter and she has a book in mind before we go. Young adult for her, staff picks for me.

I love heading over to the Science Fiction section! I usually look up reviews for books online before I go so that I have a "shopping list" ready.

Straight for crime and thrillers - love it when a new title pops up that I didn't know about and get to run home with it!

Fiction section first, then I head to the cookbook section. I make a "shopping list" of cookbooks I'm interested in someday buying.

I glance at the latest releases display, the magazine shelves and then head to Fiction, namely crime thrillers.

TRUE CONFESSION TIME
OK ... I hate to admit it but my first stop is the video section to see if they've gotten in any new releases. In my defense it only takes me at most about 10 minutes to peruse the entire video library. From there I head toward the sale table because I have often found some exceptionally good books there for less than a dollar. From there I would probably go to the "reserved books" shelves because I normally access the library ahead of time using the net and have the book I want reserved for me. I only appear at the library when it is ready for pick up. Only very rarely do I just loiter and look over the stacks but when I do it is usually in the nonfiction section.

I tend to head towards the new books section, then straight for the YA section :'D
