Hottest Hand-sellers for 2008

Post by grammyva » 01 Jul 2008, 21:46

Hi! Need some input from the collective group. I'm searching for the hottest "hand-sellers" in bookstores and libraries for 2008. Remember how The Red Tent, The Kite Runner, The Secret Life of Bees, and now Water for Elephants became popular just by word of mouth? What's really popular and "flying off the shelves" right now?? Thanks!

I think The Time Traveler's Wife is pretty popular right now. I know I loved it and have recommended it to many people.

I completely agree. I read The Time Traveler's Wife a while ago and since then I have been suggesting it to everyone I meet.

The Thirteenth Tale? Sorry I am not completely up to date on what is popular, I just know that one has been read by a lot of people I know.
