Hmmm I will usually re-read them only if I don't really remember what happened. Mainly I'll read the last couple of books just so I feel all caught up and ready to start the new book in the series. I'm actually going to be re-reading the last couple books of the Nightrunner series by Lynn Flewelling soon because the next book comes out this April. So excited!!! :D by far one of my favorite series!

If its a series I'm really into I always go back and reread. Especially if its a mystery/thriller series that ended with questions. Tho it frustrates me when I take the time to reread and then the new book is 20% rehashing of the first books.

Everytime I tell myself not to read a series until it's finished. But I'm too curious :?
So most of the time I read the first installment to see if I like it... then wait till the series is complete and then read all the installments.
Bloopers in my spelling or grammar?? A PM will be greatly appreciated... I do (almost) anything to improve my English!

Of course. Books at the beginning of the series I can read up to six times before the author is done with the whole story.

I have sometimes gone back and read the books before the new release. I have even found myself re-reading the books before the film release for example I read all the Harry potter books again before each film was released

Like a few of the other people I'm also doing that with the Divergent series. I read the other books so long ago I feel like I wouldn't appreciate the third book as much if I didn't go back and refresh my memory on the other books.

I don't enjoy rereading books because the enjoyment is lost when you know the outcome. I try to wait until the series is completed before I start reading it, although that is not always possible.

I always do this! I feel like even though I know the story I have to re-read the books to get my mind back in that world! I also done that with Divergent waiting for Allegiant! I sometimes do it before I see a film to, so I know in April the Vampire Academy film comes out in the UK so ill read the series again before I go to see it, I just like to read it to see how different the book to the film is!

I do indeed, you just have to in some cases to refresh the story.
