Additionally, I'll scroll through Amazon or Bookshop.org and look at covers or descriptions that might catch my eye. A lot of times I'm choosing by the title or cover.
That is amusing. I hope you get the time to read all the books.
Haha, thank you. Part of me is sad that I might not get the chance to read them all but another part is a collector at heart so what better thing to collect than books?

I always read the summary first to make sure it is something I enjoy. If it is a paperback or hardcover book, I read the last two pages.

When a cover of a book catches my eye I read the title and the summery at the back. That's how I choose my books usually.

First thing that draws my attention is the cover. I don't want to judge a book by its cover, but the ones with great covers are usually really good books. If I like the cover, I'm looking for ratings, then summary, and then reviews. What I also do a lot is, I read a book about something, and if the subjects interests me, I'll look for books around the same subject. At one point I was obsessed with witches and so I wanted to read all about it.

Necessity and interest drive me to seek out certain books. Then I read the descriptions/blurbs about the book and assess if it will meet my needs or interest. If it passes that test, I open the book and look inside and read random excerpts. If I love the excerpts, I'm sold and get the book. If I don't I reevaluate it all and there has to be a compelling reason I get the book, such as not finding other books on the topic.

I usually select books based on my mood. I don't plan a monthly reading list because of my varying emotions throughout the month.

I read the blurb of the book online or by visiting book shop. On the basis of the blurb I purchase the book.

Sometimes, I get recommendations from friends. Other times, I surf the net for interesting books and read reviews on them

First I read the blurb. If that's not enough then I prefer to read reviews. That is how I roll.

I read the genre and then the description. I enjoy books that expand my imagination or knowledge on a certain topic. That will be my first choice.

It might catch my eye and I'll read the summary and be like I pick you. Or I will searching up a genre and whatever google recommends goes.
