I just love giving someone a book that I read that I think is really good and to have them read it and tell me their opinion. The one book that has been lent out the most is "The Oath" by Frank Peretti, at least 10 people have been lent this book and it is still going strong in the lending category.

Yes, for it means that they get read, and if I don't get them back, I usually get a response instead that they like it. I count it as their gift for the year when this happens. I have turned many people to certain books and series due to this and I am always thrilled when I have turned on the light of love for books.
No, for the (admittedly selfish) reason that I always lose books this way, and sometimes I get a sentimental attachment to them, and I don't wish to lose them so easily. I cannot tell you how many books I've lost over the years.
