Since I was little, we'd been taught to respect books and leave them in the same state we found them. This means not folding back the cover, and not writing in them.eliviac35 wrote: ↑29 Apr 2020, 10:36 In the past, I would take all precautions to keep my books in the same condition they were in when I purchased them. I have since started buying secondhand books. In some secondhand books, I have found notes from the previous owner. This inspired me to start writing in my own books while I am reading, and it has helped me develop a stronger connection to what I am reading.
What is your opinion of writing inside of books?
Except workbooks.
The notion is foreign to me and seeing people write in books is low key stressful to me.
