Yes indeed typos bother me a lot because mostly I get distracted by them and even loose interest in the book.

Typos drive me crazy! I think it started when I was in university and had to pay $200 for a textbook and found 3 errors just flipping through it.

For me it depends on the amount of typos in a book. If there’s a couple then I don’t really mind. But if typos are continuous throughout the book then it will bother me.

Mild typos don't bother me...
But when whole sentences are repeated, that truly bothers me

Typos have ALWAYS driven me crazy. That little predilection has served me nicely now that I'm an English teacher. I catch errors almost every time.

It depends on the type and quantity. A few comma errors in a good book is no problem, but spelling errors in an okay book makes me like it even less.

Mostly I can just ignore it and enjoy a good book. Just bothers me if it interrupts the narrative.

It depends on the book and author. If it is a book from a new author or self-edited, I can be a bit forgiving. I appreciate the free book or at the very least the challenge it is for an author to self-publish. However, if the book is one I have purchased from the book store and is edited poorly that's very frustrating. Editing is such a huge component of a book and if the book is being published I would hope that the editing was sound. Sometimes the errors, grammatical or otherwise can really deter from the story.

Typos do bother me. They can take away from a book's value and can make the book look like it was hastily written and with no regards for and attention to details. They can definitely make the author appear as less professional.

Typos don't necessarily bother me. Unless it's frequent and in my face so much it detracts from the reading experience. We are all humans and we make mistakes but five typos in a row is unforgivable. Lol

I actually like to make a game out of finding typos. I get really excited when I find one for some reason. Maybe it's because, when you sit and read a professionally edited book, you don't expect them? Either way, they don't bother me as long as there's only one or two.

It will have to be severe in order for me to be bothered. Minor ones aren't always noticed unless I'm distracted while reading and have to re-read a sentence which usually results in me catching said typo. As long as the flow is consistent, then typos aren't a bother.

They do not bother me if they aren't much. Too much of them can be truly distracting.

I think that typos are inexcusable. If there are one or two throughout the entire book, that is fine, but if there are frequent errors, no matter how bad, it will still get on my nerves.
