I just usually shake my head at them.

I'm not really bothered about typos, there are a few things here and there but when they are everywhere it becomes a problem.

Typos really bug me. I know, nobody is perfect, but still. I also really hate it when an author repeats a word multiple times in the same paragraph or within a few pages.

A few, I mean just a few can be overlooked but many, no. It's very annoying for me to read a book that is not professionally edited. It drifts my attention even if the book is very interesting I would think that the author did not put enough time and effort to make it the best.

A few typos do not bother me. I will notice them, but I will shrug it of most of the time. If there is a lot in a book I get a little more annoyed, but hey we are humans and we all make mistakes.

Yes it does. I think it is a distraction. It is also very annoying. Sometimes with the typos depending on how bad they are, I feel like I have to read it over again a few times until I understand what is going on.

I agree a few errors can happen but if they are all over it gets distracting and is inexcusable in this day and age.

One or two typos are forgivable to me. I always think of a scenario where they find the error too late and it wouldn't be cost effective to reprint, so they just let it slide. Improper grammar or punctuation is a nail in a coffin for me though! I remember attempting to read "Red Light" by T.Jefferson Parker many years ago and was. So. Irritated. By the way he. Used his. Periods. It was incredibly distracting and I couldn't get over it!

Then I think of stories where typos are beneficial, as in the case of Flowers for Algernon. But those are rare exceptions...

Finding typos in books I read aggravates me. I felt like I want to correct the mistakes so much and I'd kept the book down (or my phone in case of e-books) to calm my heart.

Yes, typos are so distracting when reading a book. Unless it's a manuscript or draft works.

A few, small typos don't bother me. When they are prevalent throughout the book, it is annoying. It is downright frustrating when the typo is at a crucial part of the story, and I can't tell which direction the plot has taken because of that error.

I hate typos in books. The more there are, in a book, the more I get less psyched about continuing reading. And I do admit there are some novels I didn't bother finishing to date because of typos and bad grammar

If it's one random typo, I might notice it, but I can overlook it. A series of typos or repetition of the same punctuation/grammar errors? That's more annoying.
