I'm married to a guy that's not that big into reading. At the beginning it was a bit tough but now I can relax with a good book while he enjoys a game of ruby.

Of course, I could. My partner would just have to understand that some of my time will be consumed by books, and I will want to talk about them when I'm done.

Sure, I can date him if he is educated and can put complete sentence together, why not.

Everyone has different hobbies. I would care more about how they live their life, how they heal and how they treat other people than whether they read. So, yes 🙂

Yes, I would date someone who doesn't read. But I think I would inspire him so that he too starts reading, also, it could work as an escape for both of us when we get into a fight lol.

I think I could as long as the person can hold meaningful conversations. But then reading books makes one to think of the endless possibilities that could have happened and the lessons captured in it. This also applies to day-to-day activities such as does the person keeps to date about the recent happenings in the society, what could be the solution and so on.

I can date anybody but i can't date someone dat doesn't support me in anyway. It not a most for the person to read or practice the same hobbies as me which is reading. All I want is for her to be supportive, educated, loving, caring and the like. I think you are being bias by asking this question. Everybody cannot practice the same thing since they are created differently. There are some women that I know that read a lot but have bad attitude which I can never date.

It's fine, I think. I could date someone who doesn't love reading as long as he supports my bookwormness...

NO!!! I only know a few guys that read but still...reading is a must! Some of the best conversations or debates start from a book. If he didn't read that would already narrow down the things to discuss not to mention eliminate my favorite hobby.

I know I could because I have. My ex would not read a book to save his life but would watch hours upon hours of television. I asked him once " Don't you think you would enjoy no noise, no talking, just a book in your hand." He replied, " Nope, that's your thing, I would be bored silly."

I am currently married to someone who doesn’t read... I mean, he reads updates on his news app and some posts etc about people he follows, work related things, but does not read any books. It is sometimes frustrating, as I have no one really to discuss with the books I am reading, but overall, it’s not that bad. To be honest, it sometimes feels nice to have something just to myself that I do alone...

I believe I could date as long as the person could not be bothered by my reading, in that case, there could not be a way.

I could date someone who doesn't read because I can't push that someone to do what I love to do. It's fine for me.
