I'm not sure why I started doing this but I have always enjoyed waking up early and reaching for a book from my bedside table. I suppose it could be an attempt to wake myself up by concentrating on the pages.
Either way this simple tradition has been a calming influence before I face my day. Lying back and reading a few pages before I get up makes every morning feel like Sunday morning.

I like to read in my room, in a comfy chair. I will also read on my phone in the car if I am waiting for someone in a store or appointment.

I wish I had an answer to this, but I read whenever I have time and I never know where I will be when I have the opportunity.

I like to read in my room at night when I won't get easily distracted.

I read any time I can find the time in my day or evening. I average 60 or more books per year. I read a lot at night when I cannot sleep as well. The only place I cannot read is in a moving vehicle, a train, boat, or plane. I get motion sickness.

I've always been a night-owl, so the most comfortable time for me to read is at night when everyone else in the house is asleep. Unless I'm reading a horror story. In that case, it needs to be very bright outside.

I always love spreading out on my bed, laying on my stomach to read late at night. Its so comfy when I'm snuggled under a few blankets with pillows all around me. I prefer to be in my room because it is the quietest place in the house. I used to read regardless of noise, but now I need complete silence when sitting down (or laying down) with a book.

Normally I read at night in my bedroom. But, I would like to read early morning or late night at a place where there is nature.

Early in the morning with a cup of coffee, but usually at home. But it is most pleasant on the porch with a cup of coffee and a book in hand.

I like to read in my room and a library. I read any time of the day but I prefer to read early in the morning after getting a good night's rest.

Mid-morning or early evening mostly. I can pretty much read anywhere, but I like my room better. The atmosphere there usually invites me to read.

Outside is my top place. And sometimes during a bubble bath.
