1. Never reread a book,
2. Never leave a book unfinished.
There are occasions when I have not been able to finish a book, but I have always come back to read it again at a later date.

I always reread my favorite books after a while. There's one I reread almost every year! Everytime I find something new or something I forgot. I'm curious about your reasons to not reread.pixiequeer wrote: ↑03 Aug 2018, 23:47 As I stated in a different forum post, if anyone here is following it, I've got two rules when it comes to books:
1. Never reread a book,
2. Never leave a book unfinished.

I also just answered this for someone else in that other forum but it's okayJennifer Fernandez wrote: ↑18 Aug 2018, 09:26I always reread my favorite books after a while. As a reader and a writer, they always say in order to write, you have to read.
I feel like I can learn more by reading as much as I can, and I'd rather spend that time reading more than reading the same thing.
I enjoy learning about and reading about different worlds more than the same ones, so I just prefer it that way.
I don't actually get any enjoyment about reading the same story twice because there are no surprises; I already know everything that's about to happen before it happens.
Make sense?

I have many of them but the good thing is I don't feel guilty about it.gloriana wrote: ↑03 Oct 2010, 02:03 Do you have a book you never got to the end of for whatever reason?
I never finished The Bridges of Madison County, it bored me to tears and just recently could not continue with Charlotte Gray. It was too slow and dull. I hate not finishing books to the end, but these two had to go!
