David Baldacci Absolute Power - other books like it?

Post by briansommers »

I'm looking for a book with the tension like how this started in the first chapter but through out the whole book.

By the second chapter I lost interest because all the tension is gone. I hate that.

I wanted the second chapter to either follow the theif or the presidential group.

I've seen this alot in books and I get so tired of it.. the first chapter is the hook, I get that.. the sparks fly and the tension mount and then... a big climax..

chapter 2

then the POV is on someone else about their backstory maybe how they came to be a great investigator, blah blah.. and I have to wade through all of this 'stuff' to wait to the tension builds again..

I want a book that just keeps going from the big bang in the beginning.

I wanted the story to just jump back and forth between the presidential team and the thief...

Is there any such book/novel/story that does this?

Thanks

Try Tick Tock by Dean Koontz it is a supernatural thriller though. For a regular thriller try Digital Fortress by Dan Brown (his first book)
Ignorance promotes divisiveness, knowledge encourages diversity. :techie-studyingbrown:
