What book has stayed with you long after your review has been published?

Post by MsH2k »

Often I am absorbed in a book, write the review, and then I‘m on to the next one. But sometimes a book makes a bigger impact on me than I realize, and I wish I could just tell the author how much their work affected me. For me, at this time, that book is A White Face Painted Brown. What is yours?

I totally agree. Midas Effect and The Cat Man is my fave that I reviewed here in OBC.

I have only reviewed a few books so far, and the one I keep mentioning to my friends to read is The Reel Sisters. I loved reading it and know many of my friends will enjoy this book as well.

The whole time I was reading that book, I kept picturing a movie of it in my mind. I hope they make one!

For me it has to be Head Trauma by Cheray Gardison. This was the first book I read after joining OBC last year. :D

Worldlines by Adam Guest. Not at all what I expected and I keep on thinking about the possibilities.

Yes, I thought the author did a great job describing the various worldlines. I really liked when Betsy Cohen left a note for herself in another worldline.

The book that had stayed with me long after my review was done (but not yet published) was Chasing the Red Queen by Karen Glista.

Chasing the Red Queen by Karen Glista. Probably because it is unlike anything I have ever read.

It hasn't been that long since I read the book Can I be Frank? It hasn't affected me emotionally, but I fell in love with the author's wit. So, I read the next book in the series as soon as I submitted my review.
